Just minutes from Marco Island down a windy mangrove covered road you will come across a small community called the Isles of Capri where you will find the only waterfront dining restaurant in the area. Situated on Johnson Bay, guests can enjoy a peaceful aperitif while watching the dolphins and manatees play in the bay, and some of the most breathtaking sunsets in the area.

The Thorpe's, a husband and wife team, have owned and operated the restaurant for the past eight years, winning many local awards. The menu features many local seafoods which arrive daily at the Islands fish house, plus other meat specialties including domestic lamb, duck, veal and beef dishes, and to finish your meal our award winning desserts which are all homemade.

During season, which runs from December to April, please call ahead of time with your reservation, as the Blue Heron is a small intimate restaurant. The restaurant is non smoking but they do have a beautiful outside deck. They do please ask no shorts but jackets and ties are not required.
